The American Legion Building - 214 S. Noble- The American Legion building was built in 1924, five years after the close of World War I . The Donaldson-Walker Post 108 as it's officially known is named for Arbie Donaldson and Joe Walker who lost their lives in the Great War.

The Legion "Hut" is located just east of the Senior Citizens Center in downtown Cushing. In the 1950's and early 1960's it was fondly regarded by junior and senior high school students for the after school dances held there.

The building was added to the National Register of Historic Places in 2003 and has currently undergone rehabilitation through the hard work and dedication of Legion members with the help of community support.

The Mission Spanish style structure celebrates its 80th anniversary this year.
