Who We Are:
The Downtown Cushing Main Street Program is a locally funded organization with a strong focus on the preservation of our history devoted to revitalizing Downtown Cushing.

We are a volunteer driven organization that realizes the importance of strong grass roots support, consistent communication and commitment to duty.

We are a part of the Oklahoma Main Center program as well as a part of the National Main Street Program and are able to rely heavily on the large support network of like minded communities both state and nationwide.

What We Do:
We operate under the National Trust's trademarked "Four Point Approach" in downtown revitalization;

• Organization: Assures the organization has the tools it needs to perform the job at hand.
• Design: Acquaints itself with knowledge of our built environment, its place in history and its proper place in the future.
• Economic Restructuring: Keeps the pulse and works toward the betterment of the downtown business climate.
• Promotion: Works toward promoting the business and community life in the downtown area.

We have one paid staff member who coordinates the volunteer efforts that occur throughout the year.

Through our connection with the Oklahoma Main Street Center we are able to offer business consultations, architectural guidance and other services as well.

Through our connections to the National Main Street Center we are able to offer all varieties of information regarding downtown development and how it may apply in a given circumstance.
